The Way

Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."

He was showing the rest of us the way to peace with God, peace with the Presence in us that has always been there and therefore Jesus was and is a son of God as he stated. Jesus understood clearly that he came from the One Source, God.

I am bound neither by false tradition nor human heritage. I too, along with all creation come from the One Source, God. However, what gives me freedom in God, the same as it did for Jesus and others, is that I accept this gift of freedom in God, by my own free will, and make the most of it. I follow the way of Jesus and refuse, as he did, to be tied to man-made ideas of God.

I am only of God, Perfect Substance, Perfect Form, and Perfect Life. I am guided correctly. I am lovingly inspired by Love Itself. If my will to be well and happy has been limited or corrupted by timidity or laziness, I now resolve to get out of all emotional ruts.

Today I achieve God's idea of me. Joy, love, happiness, peace and well-being can be the only outcome, because God's nature withholds nothing from me or you.

Nothing stands in the way of my liberty. I am free in my life, in my work, and my body. I am free to experience God's Love for me and to grow in God's Consciousness and my total Acceptance. The Presence in me is All-Good and Perfect and all there is.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.--John 8:36

All Things Related

All things in nature are related. You only have to contemplate the blade of grass, the growing leaf, the developing child or the solar system to see that they were created, shaped and arranged to prosper and to exist in perfect harmony. The Creative Spirit of God knows only harmony, order and love. Looking at the world through our subconscious or unconscious eye(mind) it may appear to be in chaos and things happening randomly but there is perfect harmony and order to the disorder we think we see.

We see God living through all creation and God's Spirit and image is the essence of everything. God's perfect nature is all good and perfect and does not deny It's nature to each of us born into and of this Life. God's nature is Love and withholds nothing from us.

In this Life there is no scarcity of good. My blessings are abundant, and by sharing them I add unto myself. With great joy, love, peace and gratitude, I now understand the true meaning of happiness. I do not believe that human sacrifice or pain is required of anyone before a person can come to this Truth. It is not about you or me, or planet earth and the solar system. It is all about God's expressive and creative nature living, thriving, and animating in us and through us.

One With God

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.--Song of Solomon 8:7

I believe that all people live in God, and I now realize that we are all One in this Universal Spirit that is God. There is a place, a beginning for the form we become and where we end physically, but there is no place where we begin and leave off mentally and spiritually. Our minds merge with the minds of others, and as they meet, some silent force within us attracts or repels automatically in accord with our accepted thought patterns.

If you want sunshine, make the adjustment and step out into the sunshine. If you have locked yourself away in a dark closet, why not come out into the light? If you have been feeling that everything is against you and no one really cares for you, know that God is in everyone, and you meet the God in others. If you think that the fears and failures and hurts you have been carrying around for years are something over which you have no control, come to realize that you are born of God, of Life, where no fear, doubt, lack or limitation will ever exist. Because you are born of God, the living Spirit, when you enter the human form you are never separate from the One. You are One with God always and forever. When you recognize this Truth, you will be set free to know and experience the greatest joy, peace, happiness and love ever known to exist. The "Kingdom of God is at hand."

Divine Essence

If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.--Jesus (Matthew 21:21)

Our activity of thought is actually a Divine compulsion of the One Mind in us seeking ever-increasing achievement and expression through us. God is the substance of all things and is the law of all things, and there is everlasting motion, freedom and creativity streaming from and through each of us like a river.

Our lives and experiences may well be compared to a river. If we stand on the bank of a river and watch it flow by, we become aware that the river never changes but that its content is always new. By analogy, we can say that the purposeful dynamic quality of life within us never changes, God's essence is unchanging, but the content of our experience of living never remains the same. There is constant motion. We cannot stand still. We have to continue to express this action of Life(God) within us because creativity is our Divine Essence.

Simplicity

In the complete simplicity of Jesus we find thoughts more profound than those of the world's greatest philosophers, yet so simply stated: "As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee." What is this but saying there is a Power greater than we are and we can use It? All the art, all the science, and all the wit of humankind can neither add to nor take from this Life Itself. There is a Presence, a creative Power and Intelligence that responds to our words and thoughts.

I accept this simple idea with utmost simplicity, and I believe in my heart of hearts, that which my intellect cannot and need not explain, that is, the mystery of Life. For all the rational analysis, human reasoning, and all the apparent synthesis of every analysis known to the mind of man has not, and cannot, and never will explain Life. This Divine Gift is made and I shall not question why, but simply receive with the greatest of gratitude.

Today I have nothing to explain, nothing to be profound about, nothing to become lost in or separated from. There is the One Life which is the Life of God and I live in that Life. This is where joy, peace love, happiness, perfection, wholeness and well-being live and they are all mine. I love and am loved. In joy, then, I greet each day and rest at night with a calm confidence in God's Spirit which is All-Good and Perfect.

When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto unto me.--Micah 7:8

The Mind of God

The Mind of God is the only Mind there is and we all(creation) use this Mind. Our human reaction to this Mind becomes what we mistakenly believe to be our reality. We do not have a separate mind, it is merely a reaction to the One Mind and to the use we have made of it. This thought or reaction is often referred to as our unconscious or the subconscious. Remember, the brain is not our mind, simply another complex organ vital to the function of our body, our form. Each person creates an individual way; we are individualizations in this One Mind and no two of us are exactly alike. But we all are immersed in the collective thought of the whole human race. We are one. Carl Jung has called this the collective unconscious.

Just as we have an individual subconscious reaction to life, we also have a collective subconscious reaction to life. And just as we are more or less automatically influenced and perhaps too much controlled by our individual subconscious reactions, we also are influenced by the subconscious reaction of the ages, of history and tradition. Tradition, history, accepted behavior(as normal) largely governs us as individuals and collectively.

But I shall never forget that back of all this is the Divine Mind(God Intelligence) in which there is no bondage, no fear, and no evil. It is toward this greater center within us all that we must travel if we wish to become emancipated from the unconscious reactions of our own being.

Today I affirm freedom from the limitation of my own thought. I am no longer hypnotized by the mind of history and my reaction to it. The Divine Intelligence(God) within me is transcendent of all my past and present experience. I am free in the Life of God as I create and manifest from the center of God's own perfection in me. This radiant and glorious center in me is making everything new in my life and in the lives of those around me.

His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.--Lamentations 3:22-23
