Power of Imagination

Whether you realize it or not, you bring everything to you through the power of your imagination. The power of imagination is not something you have to acquire; you have it already! You think in images even if you aren't aware that you do, and you use imagination or imaging every single day of your life. When you think about the past you are imagining. When you think about the future you are imagining. And as you imagine and concentrate on anything with feeling, you are bringing it to you.

When you worry about something, you are using your immense power of imagination negatively. You are imagining the worst, and as you imagine the worst, you are bringing it to you. When you are excited about something, you are using your power of imagination positively. You are imagining the best, and as you imagine the best, you are bringing it to you.

Using the power of your imagination is something that comes to you naturally, but I want you to understand something about your imagination that will change your life: Whatever you can imagine already exists! You simply can't imagine anything unless it exists already, because when you imagine something you are actually tuning into a particular frequency, and if that frequency didn't exist in the Universe you wouldn't be able to tune into it. So when you imagine yourself with something you want you are tuning into a real thing that already exists, and you are looking at the very frequency of you with your desire!

Now I am going to take you step by step through a revolutionary process using your imagination from the book The Power.

First, imagine something that you really want. It could be money, health, a particular job, a partner, a vacation, happiness, or anything else. Imagine yourself with your desire; close your eyes and really get the picture of yourself with your desire.

Pay special attention to what you see about yourself in your imagined picture. Notice how you are talking. Notice how you are moving. Notice how you are walking. Notice how you are acting. Notice how you are feeling. Look at everything about yourself in your imagined picture, but in particular, notice how happy you are! Capture every detail that you can, and open your eyes.

Understand that the picture you just imagined of yourself with your desire exists already! You know it exists because if it didn't exist how could you tune into it? How could you see it in your imagination? When you imagined yourself, you were looking at the actual real version of you with your desire!

Can you see the difference between yourself right now and your imagined picture of yourself? Because your job is to become as much like the version of yourself in the picture as you can! Walk like that now. Talk like that now. Act like that now. Feel the same as that, now. Become as happy as that person, now. Be that person, now! When you become the person in your imagined picture you have shifted yourself to the frequency of your desire, and it must and will appear. Your imagination is showing you precisely the person you need to become. It is showing you what you look like and how to act and feel so that you can copy it and become that person!

To help you become more and more like the person in your imagination, practice closing your eyes and seeing yourself in the imagined picture with your desire as many times as you want. Seeing the imagined picture of yourself will continuously remind you how you need to be, feel, and act. Then come out of your imagination and go about your day doing your best to act and feel like that person, now. You will be amazed at how little copying it takes before you see the evidence that your desire is coming.

This is one of the most powerful processes you can ever do to make your desires appear with lightning speed. This process is based on the physics of the Universe. Use it! Practice it! You have The Power to your life; every force in the Universe will do anything for you, but you have to use The Power that you have!

The Lord Is With Me

I behold the image of Perfection in everything I see. There is continual progression of my soul and the Spirit of God leads me and gives me purpose in life. Since God is infinite, my expansion is progressive and eternal. No matter how much good I experience today, the Infinite Spirit of God has more in store for me tomorrow. The march of life is not a funeral dirge, but a song of triumph.

I know always that the Spirit of the Lord is with me and that the glory of the Lord is all around me and I am thankful.

The Mind

Words you speak have a frequency, an energy of it's own, and the moment you speak them they are released into the Mind (Universe). The law of attraction responds to all frequencies, and so it is also responding to the words that you speak. "My words shall not return unto me void." When you use very strong words, such as "terrible", "shocking" and "horrible" to describe any situation in your life, you are sending out an equally strong frequency, and the law of attraction must respond by bringing that frequency back to you.

The law is impersonal, and simply matches your frequency. Do you see how important it is for you to speak strongly about what you want, and not to use strong words about what you don't want?

By This Faith

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."--Hebrews 11:1

Faith is more than objective statements of belief. We do not have perfect faith while any subjective or reactionary contradictions deny the affirmations of our spoken word. When the intellect is no longer contradicted by our emotional reactions, by unconscious doubts, fears, and anxieties, then the words of our mouth will immediately bear fruit.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."--Isaiah 55:11

Today I have faith that my word shall not return unto me void. I know that there is a creative Spirit(God) that gives substance and power to this faith. By this faith my life is made whole, good and perfect. By this faith perfect peace, joy, happiness, love, good health, wealth and prosperity are made manifest in my life each day. By this faith the Kingdom of God becomes my only true Reality.

God Is Not Limited

The Spirit of God is not limited, so neither am I."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Therefore, I let go of all negative and restricting ideas. Knowing that Life(God) gives according to my faith, I lift my thought and elevate my faith to the utmost high.

God's Spirit which is in me will never fail me if I never fail to believe and trust in God's goodness. Since God is for me and within me, none can be against me. I will cease merely to exist; I will live a life of passion and purpose. Today I am set free knowing that my spirit, my soul, in and of the Life of God is forever free.

Life Flows Up

The Spirit of God is an undivided and indivisible Whole. It fills all time with Its presence and peoples all space with the activity of Its thought. My endeavor, then, is not so much to find God as it is to realize God's Presence and to understand that this Presence is always with me. Nothing can be nearer to me than that which is the very essence of my being. My Life flows up from within me, from my center.

I recognize the Life of God responding to me from every person I meet, in every event that transpires, in every circumstance in my experience.

Simplicity of Truth

There is no more a simple truth than what Jesus taught us when he in utmost simplicity proclaimed, "I and the Father are one." What do you suppose would happen if all of us truly believed his declaration, not as a mere intellectual concept, but with deep inward feelings and faith, with an expanding sense of its meaning? I believe the world would change in an instant, don't you?

Perhaps what Jesus taught was too simple to comprehend, too good to be true, however, all of Nature is living proof, a living example, a continuous reminder, that there is a Spirit animating everything, a Presence so real, a Law governing, a Unity sustaining, a coordinating Will and Purpose binding everything together, and last but not least, a unifying Principle and Intelligence holding everything in perfect place and order.

The key that unlocks the treasures of the Kingdom of God (Good) is in my hand. This simple truth unlocks the doorway of my consciousness and gently opens it so that the Divine Presence may flood my whole being, my soul with light, illumine my being with Its radiant glow, and direct my footsteps this day and everyday onto the pathway of peace, love, joy and happiness.

Consciousness of God

Life has set the stamp of individuality on your soul. I am different from any other person who ever lived and so are you. Every person is an individualized center in the Life and Consciousness of God. Every person is an individualized activity in the Action of God. As part of the Life and Consciousness of God, my life is eternal. Therefore, I do not wait for immortality. The resurrection of Life is today.

As I begin to live today as the immortal being that I am, all thoughts of death, all fear of change disappear. I step out of my tomb of uncertainty into the light of eternal day and night.

What we see as death, God sees as a resurrection; therefore, gladly I die to everything that is unlike the nature of God, the Good. I am resurrected into that which is joyful, beautiful, happy, enduring, and true. Silently, without fanfare, I pass from less to more, from isolation into inclusion, from separation into oneness. Today, realizing that there is nothing in my past that can rise against me, nothing in my future that can menace the unfoldment of the beautiful experience I have in the Life and Consciousness of God. I revel in the fact that my life is an eternal adventure and throughout this experience great joy, happiness, love, peace, good health, wealth and prosperity are made manifest in my life. I also revel in the contemplation of the immeasurable future I have, the path of eternal progress and evolution, the longevity of my being and the eternal nature of my soul. I am renewed daily by the energy and action of the Divine Spirit of God who creates me and sustains my existence.

Now I See

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

I desire with all my heart to see things as they really are through the eyes of God. I desire for my thoughts and words to come directly from the Mind of God unfiltered by the confusion, fear and doubt of my own reactionary, always questioning subconscious mind. The all-seeing eye of God, by its very nature, being one and only, must forever see things as they really are. This is why Jesus said to judge not according to appearances but to judge righteously. Too often we see things with blurred vision because we are so confused and distracted mentally. To live in the true Reality of God I must view everything as I feel the Divine, Infinite, and Perfect Spirit of God must know and understand Its own creation to be. Seeing through the eyes of God leads me to right thinking and right action.

Unfortunately, man since the beginning of time has approached God through the eyes of man, not through the eyes of God. For too long, we have defined God through multiple layers of humanistic thought as it relates to our own human drama in history. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."

Today and everyday I am seeing things and thinking things through the eyes and mind of the Divine nature of God. I am looking at things in a perfect and direct way. I am seeing through confusion to peace, through doubt to certainty, through fear to faith. Everything that occupies my attention I bring to a broader vision, a deeper insight, a more complete perspective of the Infinite Harmony that I know is back of , in, and through everything that God has made. I am keeping my eye to this one truth--what God had done is good, therefore my experiences are good and perfect. What God creates is wonderful, all-good and perfect, therefore I am surrounded by the same. I see things according to a Divine Pattern and Purpose and as I do this everything I look upon, think upon, act upon, shall become transformed and reborn. Lord, make my thoughts your thoughts and my ways your ways.

One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. John 9:25

Perfect Harmony

"You are what you is"
Frank Zappa

Whatever I identify myself with I tend to become. Whatever I think about gradually becomes a subconscious pattern, always tending to manifest itself in my experiences. Therefore, I try to identify my physical body with the Spiritual Reality that is God. I do not deny the physical body, but instead I affirm that every organ and action and function of my body works as it does because of the perfection of God. This inner Life, this Living Spirit of complete perfection exist at the center of everything.

Today and everyday I identify my body with the action of God and the Living Spirit that is in me. I also identify my physical body with my spiritual body, affirming that they are one and the same. I believe that every organ, every action, and every function of my body belongs to the rhythm of Life that is created and sustained by the Presence of the Living Spirit that is God. There is one circulation and one rhythm of Life flowing through everything, flowing through me right now. The physical body is a temple of this Living Spirit that animates it, sustains it, rebuilds it after the image of Its own perfection and keeps it in perfect health, in perfect harmony, in perfect wholeness.

I Will Fear No Evil

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;

Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. --Psalm 23

Today my heart is without fear, for I have implicit confidence in the All-Good and Perfect nature and character of God. Fear is the only thing to be afraid. I know that evil is transitory, but good is permanent. I know that right finally dissolves everything opposed to it. The power of the Spirit of God is supreme over any antagonist. Therefore, I cherish no fear. When I refuse to empower fear or hate in my reality, I come to understand the truth regarding the unity of life.

I realize that fear is not Godlike, since it contradicts the Divine Presence, repudiates limitless Love, and denies infinite Good. Therefore, I know that fear is a lie, a fraud. It is neither person, place, nor thing; it is merely an imposter that I have believed in until now. I have entertained it so long that it seems as if it really were something, and it attempts to make me believe that two and two are five, that the earth is flat, and that God is limited.

Today I repudiate all fear. I renounce and reject the belief in evil. I accept the Good and Perfect nature of God as supreme, positive, absolute, and limitless. With joy and passion I will begin each day, and without fear, doubt or regret I remember the events of yesterday, and with confidence I look forward to tomorrow with great expectancy knowing that perfect peace, love, joy, happiness, good health, wealth and prosperity is already being made manifest in me and in everyone and everything around me. Today and everyday, my heart is free from fear.

Perfect God

The all-intelligent, creative Presence of God, the One Spirit, is the source of all that I am. I believe in the ability and the willingness of this great Source to sustain its own creation.......me. I am also the center through which the Intelligence and the Power of the universe find expression. This Infinite Mind operating through me, now brings to me the manifestation of harmony, order, and the highest good. All that is necessary to my happiness and well-being now comes into my experience. I exist in the Reality of the Life of God, therefore, the perfect peace of God is mine. In this Reality there can be neither limitation nor lack, for nothing ever restricts the One Perfect Activity that is God. I am free from any sense of bondage or guilt because God, my Source and Center transcends these things. I embrace the Presence of God as the center of everything and my life is made All-Good and Perfect. I know only love, joy, peace, happiness, good health, wealth and prosperity, and passion for living. I stand revealed as the perfect child of the Perfect God.

Identifying With Spirit

I recognize my identity with God's Spirit. My knowledge that the great I Am is ever available gives me an increasing capacity to draw upon God's strength and perfection. Through the quiet contemplation of the omnipotent action of the Spirit of God, I learn to look quietly and calmly upon every false condition, able to see through it to the other side of the invisible Reality that molds all my conditions and re-creates all of my affairs after a more Divine pattern. With a penetrating spiritual vision I can dissipate the obstruction, remove the obstacle, dissolve the wrong condition. When I am still I can watch the sure salvation of the Law.

Today I claim health instead of sickness, wealth instead of poverty, happiness instead of misery. Every thought of fear or limitation is removed from my consciousness. I know that my words and thoughts transmutes every energy in the world into constructive action, producing good health, harmony, happiness, joy, love, peace and success. I know that there is a Presence at the center of my being that is absolutely certain of Itself and Perfect in every way. This knowledge gives me complete assurance that "all is well with my soul."

Animated by Divine Perfection

My whole existence is animated by the Divine Perfection of God. Chinese sages tell us that Tao, meaning Spirit, produces everything, norurishes everything, and maintains everything. It spreads Itself over everything and It flows through everything and is in all things. Indeed, being all that is, there can be nothing outside It. This mysterious Presence pervades the Universe, and this Presence, welling up in our consciousness, evermore proclaims Itself as the source, the root, the beginning and end of all things. This is what I call God.

I know that as there is One Mind and that Mind is God and that Mind is my mind(shared). There is One Body, that Body is spiritual and that Body is my body. So, every organ, every function, every action and reaction of my body is animated in harmony with the Divine Creative Spirit(God). I have both "the mind of Christ" and the Body of God. I could not ask for more and greater could not be given to me. Everyday I seek to realize the manifestation of the One Mind and the One Body that I live in, which gives me Divine harmony and perfect peace, perfect joy, perfect love and happiness. Every organ of my body moves in accord with perfect harmony and this Divine Presence circulates through me automatically, spontaneously, and perfectly. Every atom of my being is animated by this Divine Perfection.

Word Power

So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

I believe that thought is a definite, dynamic, creative, consciously directed and intelligent source of energy that directly interacts with the activity of the Spirit of God. I know that a thought of Truth will definitely neutralize a negative argument. I believe that a Power greater than myself consciously acts with creative intelligence upon my words and thoughts.

I seek to believe with absolute conviction that my word will not return unto me void, and I do this when I realize that spiritual laws execute themselves just as do other laws of nature. I know that my word penetrates every unbelief in my mind, casts out all fear and anxiety, removes all doubt, clears away every obstacle, and permits that which is enduring, all-good and perfect, and true to be perceived by my mind and made manifest in my life reality.

I provide faith, acceptance, and a joyous expectancy that all the statements I make in my affirmative prayers are not only true, but that they will be carried out as I have spoken. As I speak these words into the Mind of God, great power is put in to action, the universe moves in the direction of my desires being made manifest. As my word is done with this sense of reliance upon the Law of Good(God), I know that "my word will not return unto me void," but " shall accomplish that whereunto it is sent."

Where I Am

I withdraw my thoughts and words from the world of confusion and realize that in the One Universal Mind, which is the Mind of God, there is quiet, peace and order. This is my Reality. It matters not that in the shadow world of form there is a sense of futility, insecurity and despair. I know that the Life I live is one of Peace, Joy, Happiness, Love, Strength and Power. I know that in this consciousness of Reality, is the supply for my every need--physical, mental, or spiritual--and I accept that supply in deepest gratitude.

I come to this great Fountain of Supply and Abundance, in the very center of my being, to absorb that for which I have need, mentally and physically, and I am filled with a joyous sense of the Reality of that which I desire. As this Reality is accepted more and more by my thoughts and words, I know that It brings peace and harmony and order all around me and flows out into the lives I touch. Where I am, there is peace, order, joy, harmony for I am One with Reality. Where I am, God is also.

It Is Well With My Soul

The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.--Job 33:4

My body is the temple of the Living God. It is Spiritual Substance formed in the Mind of God and made manifest in this life. Every part of my body is attuned to this Living Spirit within me, which also sustains me. I have perfect confidence in my heart that God's life-giving Spirit is my life. Since God is my life and I am in the Life of God which is eternal, then my life is eternal. Therefore, I cannot be separated from God, from Good, or from the Perfection of God's Spirit.

The Perfect Life of God now is expressed through me, and every part of my body expresses it's innate perfection and wholeness. As the sun dissolves mist, so does my knowledge of Truth dissolve all pain, discord and error. I know the Truth about myself as a child(creation) of God and that Truth makes me free. I am free because the Power of the Living Spirit is my power and It remolds and re-creates my body after the likeness and image of the perfect plan of God.

Today I accept, then, my own spiritual and physical perfection. I accept my privilege, as God expresses through me and makes manifest the Life, Love, Peace, Health, Strength, Harmony, and Joy of God--the Almighty Presence who dwells within me and makes all things well with my soul.

The Way

Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."

He was showing the rest of us the way to peace with God, peace with the Presence in us that has always been there and therefore Jesus was and is a son of God as he stated. Jesus understood clearly that he came from the One Source, God.

I am bound neither by false tradition nor human heritage. I too, along with all creation come from the One Source, God. However, what gives me freedom in God, the same as it did for Jesus and others, is that I accept this gift of freedom in God, by my own free will, and make the most of it. I follow the way of Jesus and refuse, as he did, to be tied to man-made ideas of God.

I am only of God, Perfect Substance, Perfect Form, and Perfect Life. I am guided correctly. I am lovingly inspired by Love Itself. If my will to be well and happy has been limited or corrupted by timidity or laziness, I now resolve to get out of all emotional ruts.

Today I achieve God's idea of me. Joy, love, happiness, peace and well-being can be the only outcome, because God's nature withholds nothing from me or you.

Nothing stands in the way of my liberty. I am free in my life, in my work, and my body. I am free to experience God's Love for me and to grow in God's Consciousness and my total Acceptance. The Presence in me is All-Good and Perfect and all there is.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.--John 8:36

All Things Related

All things in nature are related. You only have to contemplate the blade of grass, the growing leaf, the developing child or the solar system to see that they were created, shaped and arranged to prosper and to exist in perfect harmony. The Creative Spirit of God knows only harmony, order and love. Looking at the world through our subconscious or unconscious eye(mind) it may appear to be in chaos and things happening randomly but there is perfect harmony and order to the disorder we think we see.

We see God living through all creation and God's Spirit and image is the essence of everything. God's perfect nature is all good and perfect and does not deny It's nature to each of us born into and of this Life. God's nature is Love and withholds nothing from us.

In this Life there is no scarcity of good. My blessings are abundant, and by sharing them I add unto myself. With great joy, love, peace and gratitude, I now understand the true meaning of happiness. I do not believe that human sacrifice or pain is required of anyone before a person can come to this Truth. It is not about you or me, or planet earth and the solar system. It is all about God's expressive and creative nature living, thriving, and animating in us and through us.

One With God

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.--Song of Solomon 8:7

I believe that all people live in God, and I now realize that we are all One in this Universal Spirit that is God. There is a place, a beginning for the form we become and where we end physically, but there is no place where we begin and leave off mentally and spiritually. Our minds merge with the minds of others, and as they meet, some silent force within us attracts or repels automatically in accord with our accepted thought patterns.

If you want sunshine, make the adjustment and step out into the sunshine. If you have locked yourself away in a dark closet, why not come out into the light? If you have been feeling that everything is against you and no one really cares for you, know that God is in everyone, and you meet the God in others. If you think that the fears and failures and hurts you have been carrying around for years are something over which you have no control, come to realize that you are born of God, of Life, where no fear, doubt, lack or limitation will ever exist. Because you are born of God, the living Spirit, when you enter the human form you are never separate from the One. You are One with God always and forever. When you recognize this Truth, you will be set free to know and experience the greatest joy, peace, happiness and love ever known to exist. The "Kingdom of God is at hand."

Divine Essence

If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.--Jesus (Matthew 21:21)

Our activity of thought is actually a Divine compulsion of the One Mind in us seeking ever-increasing achievement and expression through us. God is the substance of all things and is the law of all things, and there is everlasting motion, freedom and creativity streaming from and through each of us like a river.

Our lives and experiences may well be compared to a river. If we stand on the bank of a river and watch it flow by, we become aware that the river never changes but that its content is always new. By analogy, we can say that the purposeful dynamic quality of life within us never changes, God's essence is unchanging, but the content of our experience of living never remains the same. There is constant motion. We cannot stand still. We have to continue to express this action of Life(God) within us because creativity is our Divine Essence.

Simplicity

In the complete simplicity of Jesus we find thoughts more profound than those of the world's greatest philosophers, yet so simply stated: "As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee." What is this but saying there is a Power greater than we are and we can use It? All the art, all the science, and all the wit of humankind can neither add to nor take from this Life Itself. There is a Presence, a creative Power and Intelligence that responds to our words and thoughts.

I accept this simple idea with utmost simplicity, and I believe in my heart of hearts, that which my intellect cannot and need not explain, that is, the mystery of Life. For all the rational analysis, human reasoning, and all the apparent synthesis of every analysis known to the mind of man has not, and cannot, and never will explain Life. This Divine Gift is made and I shall not question why, but simply receive with the greatest of gratitude.

Today I have nothing to explain, nothing to be profound about, nothing to become lost in or separated from. There is the One Life which is the Life of God and I live in that Life. This is where joy, peace love, happiness, perfection, wholeness and well-being live and they are all mine. I love and am loved. In joy, then, I greet each day and rest at night with a calm confidence in God's Spirit which is All-Good and Perfect.

When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto unto me.--Micah 7:8

The Mind of God

The Mind of God is the only Mind there is and we all(creation) use this Mind. Our human reaction to this Mind becomes what we mistakenly believe to be our reality. We do not have a separate mind, it is merely a reaction to the One Mind and to the use we have made of it. This thought or reaction is often referred to as our unconscious or the subconscious. Remember, the brain is not our mind, simply another complex organ vital to the function of our body, our form. Each person creates an individual way; we are individualizations in this One Mind and no two of us are exactly alike. But we all are immersed in the collective thought of the whole human race. We are one. Carl Jung has called this the collective unconscious.

Just as we have an individual subconscious reaction to life, we also have a collective subconscious reaction to life. And just as we are more or less automatically influenced and perhaps too much controlled by our individual subconscious reactions, we also are influenced by the subconscious reaction of the ages, of history and tradition. Tradition, history, accepted behavior(as normal) largely governs us as individuals and collectively.

But I shall never forget that back of all this is the Divine Mind(God Intelligence) in which there is no bondage, no fear, and no evil. It is toward this greater center within us all that we must travel if we wish to become emancipated from the unconscious reactions of our own being.

Today I affirm freedom from the limitation of my own thought. I am no longer hypnotized by the mind of history and my reaction to it. The Divine Intelligence(God) within me is transcendent of all my past and present experience. I am free in the Life of God as I create and manifest from the center of God's own perfection in me. This radiant and glorious center in me is making everything new in my life and in the lives of those around me.

His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.--Lamentations 3:22-23

Resurrection of the Dead

But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.--Jesus Christ (Matthew 22)

In his teaching on immortality, Jesus explained that God knows nothing about death. If the principle of that which lives is Life, then it cannot know death. To suppose that Life knows death is to deny the Principle of Life(God).

"God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Which means that all live unto him. Our experience of death is but the laying off of an old garment and the donning of a new one. The resurrected body is already formed within us and will be carried along when we pass from this place. God knows no decay or death, only Life.

Paul called death the last enemy to be destroyed. He believed death could be done away with. What is death but a greater claim which the soul makes upon the deathless principle of life? Physical death is occasioned by the inability of the soul to no longer function through this body, this form. It is a release which comes when the body is no longer a fit instrument for the functioning and expressive Spirit of God within us. The soul will never be limited and it instinctively knows its own freedom.

When both my parents died I grieved and I miss them even today. It is natural that we grieve, and it shouldn't be any other way, because the most beautiful thing in life is the personal love and friendship of the people we hold near in this life. In fact, this is the most Godlike attribute and expression of our human experience.

When I die from this body and place, my loved ones may grieve my absence for a short while but I hope that they will understand and quickly realize that I have passed on to a greater recognition of Life, Truth, and Beauty.

Abundant Life

Why go through life as though it were something to be endured, as though there were not enough good or joy to go around? Our thoughts, our attitude, often is the limiting factor in experiencing the possibility of more love and affection, of appreciation, and of the common everyday good things of life? If we really are in union with a Divine Source(God) then there should come a feeling of abundance in everything we do; an abundance of friendship, of self-expression, of everything. The abundant life contains all things whether we call them big or little.

I sense the flow into my consciousness of the Divine Intelligence, a feeling that the creative imagination of the whole Universe is centered in me and flows through me and everything. Everyday I consciously practice this more abundant life, not necessarily for any specific thing or good I desire, but for the realization of the All-Good flowing through everything and everyone. I attune my consciousness to this Divine abundance, automatically I find a betterment in everything I do, a broader and deeper experience, a higher realization, and a greater good.

Today and everyday I expect a more abundant life. I am keeping my whole mind and thought and expectation open to new experiences, to happier events, to a more complete self-expression. Giving out more love, I expect greater love in return. Sharing with others whatever good things I have, I expect all life to share with me the good that it possesses. Seeing beauty everywhere, I expect a revelation of still more beauty. Seeing joy in everything, I expect more laughter, happiness and greater joy. More deeply sensing the Divine tranquility in which all things exist, I expect a deeper consciousness of peace and security. Through it all I feel that I am in the embrace of a warm, loving Presence forever seeking greater expression through my life and the life of those I hold near.

Nonviolence

Gandhi built his whole philosophy of life around the theory of nonresistance and nonviolence. An ancient Chinese sage said that all things are possible to the person who can perfectly practice inaction. And my wife says that I am lazy when I am actually perfectly practicing inaction. And the Bible also exclaims: "Be still, and know that I am God." I believe there is a spiritual consciousness that, through the power of nonresistance, can change a condition that appears solid. To illustrate, think of an iceberg. When the sun's rays daily fall on it, it will dissolve. Such is the power of nonviolence.

There is Life, Energy, a Presence flowing in, around, and through all things that nothing can resist. Unfortunately, our way is the way of resistance, instead we try to change the outer without changing the inner first.

Today I practice nonresistance. I disregard everything that seems to contradict the Reality in which I believe, affirm and accept. As I believe, affirm and accept that God resolutely turns me from everything that denies the good I wish to experience. There is no situation or condition that resists this transcendent thought; for I proclaim this day the omnipotence of God, the guidance of the Mind of God that knows all things, and the Peace that is beyond every confusion in life.

Intelligence

From the Mind of God comes Intelligence that is in everything. From the smallest atom to whatever we think of as big, this Intelligence must of necessity respond to us on many levels. However, It can only respond to us at the level of our belief in, knowledge of, feeling about, acceptance and embodiment of, and identification with It. In other words, God is all there is, but to each of us individually, the God that is all there is must be the only Reality we believe in and accept.

There is but One Life present everywhere and that Life is God. I am in that Life, and of it, and It flows through me. I accept the Omnipresence of this Life as something real, definite, immediate. At the very center of my own being I realize this Divine Presence. At the center of my own consciousness I recognize a transcendent Principle forever animating, sustaining, vitalizing, re-creating, guiding, directing, inspiring. There is something within me that which knows what to do and impels me to act in accord with its perfect Law and Order and its complete Peace. I accept this Omnipresence as being alive and awake and aware within me.

And behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest.--Genesis 18:15

Power of the Word

The universe seems beyond our comprehension. The slightest fact in nature is a miracle we cannot fully explain or perform. I recognize that there is a way to work with the spiritual law of the universe. We may rely upon It, for It will not fail us. We must come not only to believe and accept, but also to know that we are one with the living Spirit, that God is all there is.

Our word, being the presence and the power and the activity of God's Spirit, activates the Law of Mind, which cannot fail to operate. Let us feel that there is something permanent about the word we have spoken. Just as we plant a seed and walk away from it, nature takes it up, and the law of its own being evolves it, so let us believe the same thing about our word--something takes it up, something evolves it, and it will manifest.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void." I affirm that it is the word of Truth establishing harmony as my experience. With utmost simplicity I accept and believe in the answer to my own prayer because it is a prayer of acceptance. There is an Intelligence, a Divine Presence operating in and through my life, guiding, directing, governing, bringing me good.

He that doeth truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.--John 3:21

Identity

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law and a man's enemies will be those of his own household." (Matthew 10:34-36)--Jesus

I affirm that the Divine Presence is in and through all things, all people, and all events. There is one intelligent Law governing all things. We live in this Divine Presence but we usually do not identify with this One Life. We tend to identify in this life with what we do for a living or who we think we are in our role in our families. When we identify our life with what we do as a profession such as teaacher, banker, lawyer, doctor, etc., our true identity with the Divine Presence is diminished. When we identify ourselves only in the role as father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, mother-in-law, etc., it clouds our true reality and our true identity. I believe Jesus is expressing a great truth and hoping that we all realize that we are individualized expressions of the One Life(God). There is nothing else. There is no other identity we should consciously hold in our mind and thoughts. Most of us have great difficulty letting go of the human attachments and roles we have in our earthy existence. Jesus identified everything with "my heavenly father" not with the human drama unfolding around him and he was misundertood by his own family, his followers and the Jews of that day who hated him with great passion. So his own words became a self fullfiling prophecy in his own life.

Today as I pray, I am identifying myself, everyone else, and everything I do with the Divine Presence of God. I am not trying to influence people. I am not holding to thoughts to make things happen. Rather, I am still, knowing that God is over all, in all, and through all. There is nothing else to identify with but this One Life. Through my affirmations I am watching, expecting, and knowing that there will be a reaction through whatever I identify with my word. Therefore, I am at ease; I am at peace. I affirm the Divine Presence and Its manifestations as happiness, joy, health, prosperity, and well-being for myself and everyone that I meet or enters my thoughts.

We dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.--1 John 4:13

The Giver

There can be no real gift unless the giver goes with it. Giving includes more than the giving of money or things, it includes the giving of service or whatever we have to others, but always the gift and the giver must go hand in hand. The surrender of everything we have and everything we are into the joy of its own self-expression. This is the way that God gives. This is the way we should give.

Today and every day it is my desire that what Life has given to me so abundantly shall be shared with others. I desire to share this realization of the indwelling Presence with everyone. In this consciousness I say, Bless you my family, my friends. I desire for you health, happiness, and success. I desire for you love, peace, great joy, wealth and prosperity.

Acceptance

When I pray in the affirmative there is always an affirmation of acceptance that the result I desire is achieved. It is done. This is not just willing something, concentrating, visualizing, coercing, wishing or compelling something to happen. It is, rather, a quiet inward acceptance, an affirmation of my conviction, based on my deeply held belief that there is spiritual Perfection at the center of all things in the universe and that there is a fundamental Good governing all things.

I believe there is One Life, that Life is God, that Life is mine also. Consciously, I identify my self with It, I affirm the One Presence and the One Power operating in, around, and through me. Anything that denies the supremacy of Good(God) is itself but a mistake in judgement or simply an illusion of my mind. As I come to open up my thought to a greater acknowledgement and acceptance of the Divinity that resides within me, I find myself on the pathway to achieving the purpose for which I was created: to express the nature of God, the Source of my being.

Today I accept my own affirmations. There is nothing in me that can contradict them. I have a deep inward sense, feeling, conviction, and complete faith that there is a Power of Good governing everything; that It is governing completely, with absolute certainty, without deviation, without exception and that there is nothing to oppose It, to change It, to limit or circumscribe Its action. I abandon myself to this faith, live in Its atmosphere, and accept Its conclusion.

I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.--Genesis 17:1

Affirmative Prayer

I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also.--1Corinthians 14:15

I believe in the power of affirmative prayer. I finally realize that affirmative prayer is a dynamic force in my life that cannot always be explained. I believe that there is a Power greater than myself that desires good for me and all things, and a Law of Mind that all creation uses for definite purposes. I believe that while my belief in this Law is personal, the Law itself is impersonal and acts upon our thought, faith and acceptance, regardless of who we are.

Today I affirm the All-Good and Allness of God. I know that my word, being acted upon by a Power greater than I am, is sure to accomplish its purpose in me and for me. Therefore, I find peace, joy, love, happiness and an inward tranquility in my own acceptance. Knowing that the Law of God is perfect, I know that my word is certain. My faith is complete; my affirmation cannot be denied. Living in this continued acceptance, finding security in this complete trust, in gratitude I accept every good and perfect thing Life has to offer and in love I share it with all.

God is One

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord."

This is a statement of the unity of all life. Einstein believed in one physical law that comprehends, coordinates, and synthesizes all physical laws. This, from the greatest mathematician of modern times, philosophically and spiritually viewed, is no different from saying that there must be one Mind, one Power, one Spirit and one true Reality in the universe flowing in and through all things and governing all things. This is what I mean when I say that God is all there is, period.

Science, logic, mathematics, reason, inspiration and revelation are all on the side of the one who boldly proclaims the Allness of God. There is no opposite and good cannot be denied.

Today I affirm the supremacy of Good(God) and everything within me responds to this thought, understands Its meaning, and announces Its presence. This Power flows through me into everything I do and think, automatically making everything whole. There is a Transcendance coordinating, unifying, causing all the experience of my life to blend into Its unity, into Its oneness, and proclaiming the power of Its might. As a child accepts life without question and love without argument and action without anxiety, so do I spontaneously accept the operation of this Power as the Divine Influence and Controling Force of everything I do, The Divine Provider of all my needs, and the Divine Presence diffused through all my thinking.

Faith, Affirmation & Acceptance

A prayer of affirmation, a prayer of faith, once spoken and completely accepted, is then acted upon by the Law of Mind(God), and the effect or result is independent of the person who has made the prayer. In order to understand more clearly this concept, take a simple fact in nature. We bury an acorn in the ground and walk away from it knowing that someday an oak tree will grow. In the same way our word is acted upon creatively by this same Intelligence, or Law, which knows how to create the form the word implies.

There is reason to believe that there is this creative Law that acts upon our acceptance. This Law already is equipped with the know-how to do what we accept It is doing. It is the same Law that has governed all prayers of faith throughout the ages and brought about the results that have always been looked upon as miracles. They are miracles in the sense that it is a miracle for an egg to hatch or a human baby to be conceived and born. Faith, affirmation, and acceptance are acted upon by this creative Intelligence that comes from the Mind of God.

Today I have faith in my own affirmations. I know that there is a Power flowing through me, taking the form of my belief, acting upon my acceptance, answering my prayer, and fulfilling my affirmation. Therefore, I am calling upon myself for a deeper faith, a broader conviction, a higher acceptance, and a more complete realization. I affirm that every good and perfect thing I do this day will prosper, every person I meet or comes to mind will be blessed, every situation I touch will be helped by my faith and acceptance. I know that this day only good and perfect love, peace, joy and happiness, good health, wealth and prosperity are mine and are made manifest in everything I do.

I Am Grateful

I begin every day by feeling grateful. I am grateful for the bed I just slept in, the roof over my head, the carpet and floor under my feet, the running water, the soap, my shower, my toothbrush, my clothes, my shoes, the refrigerator that keeps my food cold, the vehicle I drive, my job, my family and friends. I am grateful for the stores that make it so easy to buy the things I need, the restaurants, the utilities, services, and electrical appliances that make my life effortless. I am grateful for the chair that I sit on, and the pavement I walk on. I am grateful for the weather, the sun, the sky, the birds, the trees, the grass, the rain, and the flowers.

I am Thankful!

The Law of Attraction

Whatever feelings you have within you are attracting your tomorrow.

Worry attracts more worry. Anxiety attracts more anxiety. Unhappiness attracts more unhappiness. Dissatisfaction attracts more dissatisfaction. Resentment attracts more resentment. Depression attracts more depression. Sadness attracts more sadness...anger more anger...

AND . . .

Joy attracts more joy. Happiness attracts more happiness. Peace attracts more peace. Gratitude attracts more gratitude. Kindness attracts more kindness. Love attracts more love....smiles attract more smiles...cheerfulness more cheerfulness...laughter more laughter...

Do you get it! What is your heart's desire? To change your world, all you have to do is to use the Law and change the way you feel inside for what you want to be made manifest in your life. How easy is that?

My Cup Overflows

The fullness of the Life of God flows through me. My purpose in this Life is to become an outlet for God's wisdom, intelligence, love, beauty, and creativity. My relationship to this Life is that I am of like nature. "I am in the father and the father is in me." Some part of me exists as pure, unmanifested Spirit. This side of my nature has never been troubled. I am fashioned from the stuff of the Invisible. God's nature is in me, incarnated in me, recreated in me, resurrected in me. Because of this, my word has the power in this world of localizing itself, of manifesting itself in concrete form. I exist only in the Life of God. This Life is flowing through me and it decrees, affirms, knows, and imagines.

For example, there is something involved in a sunflower seed that acts upon the creative energy of God's nature in such a way as to produce a sunflower and not a cabbage or a potato. Definite ideas produce definite results in this Life. This means that if I am using this Law to bring loving relationships into my life, then I am using the Law of Love for this definite purpose and not for something else.

Today I choose to live the kind of life I deeply desire. Accepting and affirming the truth of my existence and the true Reality of this Life. God is One, One Spirit and One Mind from which everything flows. Today I free myself of beliefs in limitation and lack, and move forward into a new life of loving relationships that bring me love, joy, peace and happiness in great abundance. My cup overflows.

The Invisible

Life at the center of my being is a silent Power. Physical facts, form, and conditions are no obstruction to this Power. It flows through them and takes a new form in them. It re-molds them. That which makes can re-make; that which molds can re-mold; that which creates can re-create. Remember what you see comes from what you do not see. The visible is the Invisible made manifest. It is the Invisible caught in temporary form. Every time you think, you are giving form to this Invisible Power.

I strip my mind of fear, superstition, and all sense of separation from this Divine Presence that is in me, through me, and all around me. I am surrounded by a spiritual Presence that responds to my word and my thoughts. Today I take charge of my thinking. All my thoughts and actions this day will be prosperous and good. I wait calmly and expectantly for new and greater experiences to come to me.

It Is Done

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.--Ephesians 4:6

I see the beauty of God's activity in everything--in the wind and the wave, in the sunshine and cloud, and in everything that God has created.God is an active Presence in all our affairs, not something passive. I believe that this Divine Presence is everywhere,, that It is always active in, around, and through us.

I believe that the Spirit of God is at the center of everything and at the very center of my own physical being. I recognize this Presence harmoniously acting in every cell, every organ, and every function of my physical body.

I believe that there is One Mind that governs everything, and I now affirm and accept that this same Intelligence governs my affairs at all times, directing, guiding, governing, controlling, and leading me happily to the fulfillment of all good and perfect purposes.

As I speak into this One Mind I ask that all things good and perfect be made manifest in my life. I ask that only good and perfect love, joy, peace, happiness be mine. I ask, believing that only good health, wealth and prosperity, passion for living and loving those around me are being made manifest as I write these words. It is done.

Life and Love

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.--Jesus (Matthew 28:18)

It is interesting to note that while Jesus said that all power was given to him in heaven and earth, at another time he said that he of himself could do nothing. This sounds like a contradiction until we understand the subtlety of its meaning. Jesus realized that there is but One Power and One Presence and he knew that we all live in this Presence and by this Power. He also knew that when he surrended himself to the Presence, that is, when he thought the thoughts of God after Him, then the Power would autmatically respond to him. Therefore, in surrending himself to the Presence of God he commanded the Law of Good. For we all use the Law of Good, which of Itself is entirely impersonal and independent of us, like all other laws of nature.

Today I depend on the Power that is greater than I am and upon the Law of Good that is available right here and now. I identify my life with the Presence and the Power and the Love of God. I recognize the Divine Presence within and around me, and in all people.

If there is anything in me that denies this Presence or this Power, I remove it from my thoughts and let it go. This day I surrender myself to the complete conviction that everything necessary for my well-being, for my physical, mental, and spiritual self-expression, is now operating in, through, and around me. I know that everything I do will prosper. I know that the One Life, which is God, is also my life. Therefore, I accept this gift of Life and Love, for myself and for all people.

Never Thirst Again

I am One with the infinite. I open my mind and my heart, and, indeed, my body, to the inflow of this Perfect Divine Presence. I know that this living Presence is in every cell of my body and every function of my being. I accept It as my health of body. I accept It as that which frees me from all that is unlike the perfect expression of Life(God). There is no doubt or fear in my mind that rejects in any way all that God is, right here and right now.

My conscious acceptance of the fullness of the Presence of God flows out in joy and love to bless those whom I would help, those with whom I would share this inner joy. Today and everyday the loved ones I now bring into the scope of my thought is blessed and healed through the Presence of Good that is within. The radiance of joy in my heart brings happiness into the lives of all those around me. The Abundance that benefits me supplies everyone around me with the good things of life. The Light that warms the center of my own being so shines forth that all may find guidance and warmth and comfort in Its rays. This is the Light that lighteth every man that comes into this world. This is the fountain from which springs the living waters. I drink, and will never thirst again.

Resurrection

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.--Psalm 23:4

Unhappy is he who mistakes the branch for the tree, the shadow for the substance.--The Talmud

I know that every apparent death is a resurrection, therefore, today I gladly die to everything that is unlike the true natural of God. This is the only Reality I seek. The Talmud says that unhappy conditions arise when we mistake shadow for substance. Even the valley of the shadow of death causes no fear when we arrive at the consciousness of the Psalmist who, from the exaltation of his Divine deliverance, proclaimed, "thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." The rod and the staff of Truth is the realization of the substantiality and the permanence of that which cannot change.

"Behold, I make all things new." The revitalizing, regenerative power of God's Spirit flows from the consciousness of wholeness into our physical organism and into every objective act, when we give the realization of the Divine Presence free passage through our thought. Emerson tells us that in these moments we are conscious that we as isolated beings are nothing, but that the Light(Life) is all there is. Thus, he admonishes us to get our "bloated nothingness" out of the way of the Divine flow of Life. In this Reality(the Life of God) we must strive for and embrace nonresistance and nonburden(no worry).

I know that in my own physical death and in every death is a resurrection. Jesus demonstrated this even though the world, for the most part, misunderstood the significance of the event. Today, I gladly die to everything that is unlike the good, the love, the peace, the joy, the perfect true nature of God. Jesus said, "Be ye perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect." Today my prayer is to be joyfully resurrected into that which is beautiful, enduring and true. I pass from less to more, from isolation into inclusion, from separation into oneness.
